I'm Nando Talavera, CEO of The Origin Ibiza.
I'm in love with the island of Ibiza, and the goal of this project is to ensure that everyone who buys my clothes can take a piece of Ibiza's magic home with them.
The philosophy of this Ibizan fashion brand is to promote sustainable consumption, which is why all garments are handmade using 100% organic/natural and/or recycled materials. Furthermore, only a very limited number of pieces are produced per design.

From a young age, I always knew I had a special talent for all things creative.
My CV is a testament to that: window dressing, set design, fashion design, makeup artist for film and TV... and I've even worked for celebrities like Paris Hilton.
People who know me know that I'm very energetically connected to the island of Ibiza. My pieces are a tribute and a love letter to this slice of paradise on Earth that has me completely captivated.
The Origin Ibiza is not just a brand, it's a tribute.
BRAND PHILOSOPHY
A transformative message came into my life one day:
"You are now ready to begin your new path and project."
Without knowing it, my whole life had been preparing me for this moment. I was going to create my own fashion and accessories brand inspired by Ibiza.
The message also included a condition:
"You must convey the feeling and magical vibe of Ibiza through your pieces, so that people who see them feel a little jump in their heart, accompanied by a sigh and a smile of happiness when they remember the island."
"This is the essence of The Origin Ibiza: the power to give and receive this magical energy that is felt on the island and share it with the world through my fashion pieces."

WHY: THE ORIGIN IBIZA?
The first time I set foot in Ibiza, stepping off a boat at the age of 18 years old, I had no idea I was going to fall so deeply in love with this island.
At that time, the concept of energy and vibration hadn't entered my life. I didn't know what it was about; I hadn't even considered its existence.
The first time I set foot in Ibiza. It was barely 6:00 on that cold January morning in 1994. As I stepped off the boat, a thick fog enveloped me. It had a very particular smell, and I couldn't see anything beyond three meters. It was a damp, unsettling fog, yet magical. A small whirlwind enveloped me and made my whole body shiver.
Now I know that Ibiza was giving me a welcoming blessing, and meanwhile, my energy was aligning with its own.
Ibiza is the place where I've come to find refuge when I've gone through a very difficult time in my life. I've also experienced moments of celebration here, like my wedding day.
Six years have passed since I first decided to leave Ibiza, but before I left, a voice in my head said, "You'll come back to live here forever, because this is your origin."
More than 30 years after that first time I set foot on the island, I returned to stay and create my brand:

With it, I want to convey the essence and magic that captivates so many people from all over the world, regardless of race, age, background, or religion—the same magic that captivated me and continues to do so.
